Hailing from the easternmost state of India, Arunachal Pradesh, she brings with her a deep understanding of the region’s social and cultural dynamics. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from Rajiv Gandhi University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Kalinga University. Her academic background has provided her with a strong foundation in understanding human behaviour, social systems, and development challenges, which she has skillfully applied throughout her professional journey. Currently, she is working with the National Health Mission (NHM), Government of Arunachal Pradesh, where she contributes to strengthening public health systems and delivering essential services at the grassroots level. Before this, she served as a counselor in the Targeted Intervention Project for Migrants in Aalo (Along), under the Health Care SSC. This initiative was implemented by M.M. Charitable Trust and supported by the Arunachal Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (APSACS), a nodal agency under the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. In this role, she worked closely with vulnerable and mobile populations, addressing issues related to HIV/AIDS prevention, awareness, and behavioural change communication. Her experience in both government and NGO sectors reflects her commitment to improving public health outcomes and empowering underserved communities across the state.

Manish Kumar is a seasoned public health and development professional with over 17 years of experience in grassroots organisations, international NGOs, and government-led programs. His work spans a diverse range of sectors, including public health, mental health, RMNCH + A, education, rights to food and work, and pandemic response. Manish has held significant leadership roles, including his current position as Secretary of the Seven Colors Welfare Society, which he co-founded in 2023 to provide mental health services and educational support in Bihar. Previously, he served as Director of School Inspections in the STAR Education Project (Manipur), where he established data-driven school audit systems and coordinated efforts with state education departments. Manish’s career began with rights-based advocacy and organisational development in Assam with The Action Northeast Trust and IDeA, where he contributed to implementing Supreme Court orders on food entitlements and helped establish mental health initiatives and NGO coalitions. Over the years, he has demonstrated expertise in team building, project implementation, M & E systems, capacity building, and multi-stakeholder coordination. He has also contributed to research and authored publications, including a peer-reviewed article in PLOS ONE. His academic foundation includes a Master’s in Public Health (Policy, Economics & Finance) from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Manish is committed to grassroots innovation, system strengthening, and equity in healthcare delivery, having worked across some of India’s most challenging geographies, including Bihar, Manipur, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh.

Sunil Kumar Jha, a child rights practitioner with over 16 years of experience, holds an MA in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and a law degree from Calcutta University. His expertise spans grassroots work and systemic engagement, influencing policies and governance models in child protection. Notably, he played a pivotal role in implementing the Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS) in Bihar from 2010 to 2020, enhancing the state’s child protection system. Over the past two years, he led a national study on child protection workforce for the Global Social Service Workforce Alliance and UNICEF ICO, focusing on mapping the CP Workforce and HR/capacity gap assessment in five states. Sunil has enriched the child protection knowledge bank in India through surveys, assessments, guidelines, SOPs, training modules, and position papers. His effective communication and understanding of child protection core issues enable him to collaborate seamlessly with various stakeholders, from community members to senior bureaucrats and judicial officers. Beyond his contributions, Sunil has provided consulting services to national and international organizations, including IGNOU, TISS (Mumbai), Paul Hamlyn Foundation, America India Foundation Trust, CHILDLINE India Foundation, CRY, and Plan India. A passionate traveler and reader of non-fiction and history books, Sunil stays engaged with national and international affairs.

He is specialized in mobilizing, organizing, and empowering Dalit and marginalized communities, focusing on issues like land rights, social exclusion, untouchability, urban poverty, homelessness, workers’ rights, and lately, public finance and policy. Expertise includes exploring partnerships, monitoring performance, capacity-building, statutory compliance, and program management. Proficient in networking with various stakeholders for policymaking, research, and communication campaigns. Experience in financial management covers facilitating audits to ensure fund integrity. The rich institutional journey includes collaboration with diverse communities, emphasizing ethnicity, caste, gender, and individuality.
